Can I just rant for a couple minutes?
Please don't come into class unprepared and then complain that I gave a difficult quiz. Did I let you know that it was coming? Yes. Did I tell you what was on it? Yes. Did I tell you that all the way through the year we would be using brush strokes? Yes. Did I ask you questions to review the story EVERY DAY since we've been reading this book? Yes. So - the question remains: Why do you refuse to write even an attempt at an answer for some of the questions? Why do you REFUSE to write a complete sentence, knowing that you'll only get half credit? Why do you refuse to attempt brush strokes, knowing that you'll only get half credit? Why is a lack of effort on your part acceptable to you? I think it is pure laziness. "You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try." - Beverly Sills (For those of you who actually tried to answer the questions wholly and correctly, or who made an honest mistake and accidentally skipped a question, this rant is not meant for you. Thank you for being conscientious.) -Miss White
