On this website, the government gives us the opportunity to actually interact with videos of the documents from US history. You can click on any little box at the top of the site, and the computer will take you to an overview of the document, related articles, and transcripts of the documents because they are often old and worn, making them hard to read. Part II consists of four texts, which the students read. Students need to answer a question with an organized source-based argument essay.
Part III of the test provides another text. After reading this one, our darling students will write another essay in which they identify a central idea/theme and the author's use of a literary strategy.
