I have found that even English teachers tend to search for answers on the web. These particular sites have been useful for daily grammar tips, clarification, and helping students to better understand grammar and writing concepts. Of course, the very best way to improve your communication skills is to READ. Find SOMETHING you like at the CHS library; our famous librarian will even be glad to order you books that we may not have in stock!

Those of you who like to have a quick chart handy can CLICK HERE. Of course, you can use this on homework or when writing a paper. Unfortunately, you can't use it for taking quizzes. I guess you'll have to memorize it, then, huh?!

This is an absolutely incredible resource designed to help students learn reading strategies – visualize, predict, summarize, etc. For the past couple of years it had only been partially completed. Now, however, all its exercises were finished. Users are led through the process of learning each reading strategy with interactive exercises.
