If I met Okonkwo in this chapter I would think of him as full of himself but also he has a kind heart at points, especially towards his favorite family memebers

1. Chapter 12 celebrates the aspects of unification and marriage based on the culture of Umuofia. The vows at the wedding placed emphasis on the culture; Ibe was promised nine sons. Then, the traditional kola nut was eaten and the palm-wine was drunk.
