Today your Island Groups will continue to work on your diagnosis of your character. So far, I have seen some pretty creative ideas when it comes to how you have chosen to present your information:
Remember that the days of presentation are April 1, 2, and 3. Be ready on April 1 to present. I will pick group names out of a hat to see who is first. After that group is finished, I will choose the second group, and so on and so forth.
Today we will get into our island groups to discuss the stress faced by your characters. We will study two academic journals, and then watch a video:
Analyze your character answering the following questions:
Your job is to look at the resources given to you in class and create a media presentation (your choice) of how you will share these ideas with the class. Feel free to look at other JSTOR resources, as well.
Choices: video, website, power point, prezi, podcast
We will work on this next week, too.
Keep in mind: This is an "open" assignment, so you will have very little instruction on how exactly your final project will look. Instead, YOUR GROUP should decide how to present your information in the most effective way possible. Have fun, and don't be afraid to step out of the box!!
Ok, Folks. You should have your first draft handed in to me by 11:59 tonight, but other than that, we have no homework. Yay!!
