Students and Parents,
It is my pleasure to inform you that each student enrolled in Chittenango High School has now been set up with an email account that is specific to our district. These are gmail accounts and can be utilized to send and receive emails from other students, teachers, and staff within our district.
A senior email will look like this:
The password for this account would be:
(Capitalize the DS ; it represents the students first and last initials.
Instead of the 3 question marks, the student will use the last 3 digits of their student ID number.)
Students who share the same first initial as a sibling would use their full first name. Example: 14NormanAaron@chittenangoschools.org
Useful Google tools for school:
*Google Music Player
Use them wisely. They are monitored.

It is not difficult, but it is required.
Have a great day!
Below you'll find the journal the will be due at the end of the reading for Medea. This is just to give you a heads up so you can be thinking about the questions while you are reading.
Welcome to Great Books!! I have only been with your class for a day, but I LOVE IT!! I am hoping that we will have some really great discussion and good times before you graduate and go off into the real world.
Please be aware that you can post information here or ask me questions. The post will go to my email, so I can answer it as soon as I can.
For kicks, feel free to click the pink COMMENTS button (above) to leave me a note.
Have a great "snow night"!
Hello, folks. For tomorrow, your assignment is to reword the following paragraph without using BEING VERBS (am, is are, was, were, be, being, been). Instead, use action verbs. You CAN mix up the whole thing; you don't have to just replace the being verbs.
He was a tall, strong, heavy, nut-brown man. What was noticeable was his jet-black ponytail and his soiled blue coat. He had a handspike. His hands were rugged and scarred with black broken nails, and there was a cut across one cheek of a dirty, livid white.
Have a great day!!
Hey! This is a reminder to hand in your Hedda Gabler journal before midnight tonight. 12:01 is unacceptable. If you need to get the document, it happens to be on this website! How handy!!
*Don't do anything stupid over break.
So did Hedda actually become BRAVE at the end of her story or did she just cave in because she couldn't get her own way?
Your next project, the Hedda Journal, is due April 28.
Hold your mouse over "Great Books (Blog)", then click on "Hedda Gabler" to open your journal. If I were you, I would be sure to watch your grammar and explain everything with details form the story. This is how you gain POINTS.
Have a great day!
Today I received the rules to the Chittenango Annual Writers' Chair Contest!! If you submit a well-written piece for this contest, I will add a 200 point quiz grade to your grade as EXTRA CREDIT! Click here for the official rules and check in with Mrs. Klucznik and Mrs. Pitoniak in the LMC for further clarification.
If you are considering doing this, please leave a comment on this blog.
Have a great weekend!
Cyrano died!! But he went out like a champ, fighting Death! Roxanne learned the truth and realized that she has lost the love of her life twice. Cyrano attempted to be selfless to the very end, but made one little slip up and let the secret out. We have seen the characters change over the course of the story. Especially, DeGuiche, but the one character who stayed true to who he was was Cyrano.
Mrs. Coller says:
I will keep this little blog here so you and I can communicate better. Please note that it does not replace your BRAIN. Attend class, take notes, ask questions - these are your best and most powerful tools - not the blog.
