Today, we read 2 articles in class that were about literary naturalism. You all highlighted useful information from these texts such as definitions and characteristics. Yes, I realize that these texts were quite difficult, but I knew you all could sort through the information to find useful information.
Then, you did the graphic organizer to sort your information. If you did not finish it, finish it for homework and complete the quote/explanation side of the homework. You will have to find a sentence or a few sentences in "To Build a Fire" that exhibits naturalist qualities. Then, give me an explanation of how it exhibits it (could be the man vs. nature setting, deterministic qualities, etc.)
