Today we took notes on Senator McCarthy, a man who led the House Committee on Un-American Activities in the 1950s. He and his committee accused people of being communist, put them on trial with no evidence, and then blacklisted them so they could no longer find work. Arthur Miller, the author of The Crucible, was one of the accused. Click on this link to get the notes from today's class.
