I looked at your comments from yesterday. Some of you actually used capital letters, periods, and correct spelling. Some of you were sadly lacking in this area.
Your first job TODAY: REPLY to what you have already written, but fix your mistakes. (You are sitting at a computer, so I expect that you have access to dictionary.com, grammar girl, etc. You also have access to ME since I am walking around the room chatting with you about your new-found information. Problem: Some of you don't have comments listed yet. Since this is your first and only MP3 grade, this means you have a ZERO for the marking period so far. If I were you, I would fix this ASAP. Your second job TODAY: Look up information about John Steinbeck - our author. Find resources on the JOHN STEINBECK page of this website. Make another comment, this time with correct grammar and punctuation. This comment should be on THIS BLOG entry, not yesterday's. Have a great day! -Mrs. Coller

John Steinbeck did not like to finish his stories, he believed that no story was ever really done and that the story leaves the author behind when he or she attempts to finish it.

The music of the thirties had a very unique sound. The world was changing into something much more modern and so was the music. This time period had a long lasting effect on music and culture nowadays. This music can still be found in jazz, movies and modern gamers like Fallout.

John Steinbeck may have not have made a great choice on dropping out of high school. But the fact he was so focused on writing, non of that had mattered. At the age of 14 he decided the direction of life he wanted to follow and that was to be an author. So while he dropped out of High school John Steinbeck would lock himself in his room hours on end of the day so he could write. His parents were nagging him on and on so he had attended college to make his parents happy, after he was in and out of college he eventually dropped that to become a manual worker. But even though he was a Manual worker he had still became a famous writer, Which had been his childhood dream.
