Based on our discussion for chapter three of Things Fall Apart, I found some really interesting web pages full of quotations and proverbs from various countries and time periods. Check them out by hovering your mouse over ELA10H (Blog), then finding THINGS FALL APART and PROVERBS.
Just so you'll know, we have been doing a study guide and tons of notes on Ibo culture and names of characters in the text. The study guides are below in case you want to print them off for your notes, but please keep in mind that I may not use all of the questions for your class. So far, we have just done chapters 1-3. Study Guide for TFA Today, we will begin working with literature circles, meaning that we will get into groups of four or five and we will keep those groups for the remainder of the unit.
